New to PittStop this year, this band performed at our recent blues dance exchange, the PBnJ. Bluesy, grindy and jazzy, lead singer Marcy Brown sings with soul and grit.
A long-standing Pittsburgh band, they regularly perform for swing and lindy dancers. Described as a swingin', rockin', jazzy, bluesy, very hip band who plays in the tradition of Louis Jordan and Louis Prima, Jimmy Sapienza also emulates the singing styles of Sinatra and Bennett.

Friday evening and late night dances will be held in venues used regularly by local swing dances. Floors are hard, smooth wood in nice condition.
Sat. evening, Roger Humphries Big Band will perform in a large, spacious venue with a hard, smooth wooden floor in great condition. Acoustics are excellent for an authentic big band sound!

Sunday afternoon and evening dances are held in vintage dance halls with smooth wooden floors that are perfect for lindy dancing!
